I entered the world of aesthetics more than a decade ago, guided by the Fear of my Fabulous Forty. Chasing away little lines and angry frowns, I turned my back on a long career as a RN, without regrets. Coming from a world where everything was a matter of life and death, I was mesmerised by the glamour, the buzz and the fun of aesthetics. While fresh in the industry, I was working with amazing talented mentors who taught me the Science of Beauty. How everything is connected and measurable. Around that time, I was introduced to permanent makeup and it was like love at first sight. With my whole heart, I wanted to do this! It took a while, but after the best European training from Nouveau Contour and a year apprenticeship at External Affairs, one of the oldest and best Medical Spas in Edmonton and pioneers in permanent makeup here in Canada, my dream became reality:
